Cherrapunji - A place where rain sings a lullaby at your ears with the smell of clouds.

If you want the rain to dance on your head and to sing a lullaby at your ears, if you want the clouds to touch your nose tips and drench your soul with rain, then you have to visit Cherrapunji again and again. 

A distance of 4 hrs from Guwahati via Shillong, Cherrapunji is located at an altitude of almost 5000 feet above the sea level at East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. This is one of the wettest place on earth with maximum rainfall. If you are an adventure tourism lover like me, then this is the best place on earth to see the hide and seek between the rain and clouds and then the clouds suddenly move away and you find a roaring water falls with a steep flow of burbling white water vanishing beneath the mountain and deep inside the clouds and the precipitation of water and mists mixed with clouds comes floating infront of your nose and drenches you for a while. Before you take a click of this heavenly scenic beauty, the water falls is covered by the curtain of clouds again. You will be spellbound with this quick happening and will wait for hours with the camera lens ready in your hand so that the cloud cover moves away again and you are able to take a lifetime click of this beautiful Nawkalikhai water falls. Cherrapunji is also famous for Mawsmai water falls or Seven sister water falls with 7 series of water flows plunging from the top of the limestone cliffs and vanishing into the clouds beneath the mountains with a spectrum of colours caused due to reflection of sunlight on water and clouds. 



I have always preferred to stay in the remotest of locations in every hill stations so that I am lost in the woods and lonely village  roads leading towards a hidden river or stream cascading into the forest. I have always believed that the best of the explorations are made when you are lost on your way. A day as a green grocer in a gloomy Sikkim Village. Organic farming and Terrace cultivation in Sikkim.

It was 7 am in a Sunday morning as I reached a small gloomy village of East Sikkim bedraggled with the monsoon rain. The Lepcha village girl having a small vegetable shop in the lonely curve of a mountain was waiting for me with the morning breakfast and tea. There was a light drizzle going on since morning and after breakfast, we trekked through the wet and slippery muddy track towards the National Highway on the ridge where she has a small vegetable shop made with bamboo pillars and thatched cover to protect her from rain. From my Paranormal Activity Diary based on my experiences. They exist between you and me. They subsist infront of our eyes, in the same locality or place perhaps where we stay. We feel their presence. But we human beings do not have the capacity to identify them because our eyes can only support two dimensional vision. That's why we sometimes find the cats, dogs or animals making odd and untimely chaos in late nights. Just because the animals, particularly the dogs have seven dimensional vision supported by their eyes. And those about whom I am discussing are also having seven dimensional vision. The best way to identify them is by keeping a cat or a dog as a pet in your home.
