We find the students in a doubly distressed world after Government announces to postpone the board exams due to 2nd wave of Covid in India. After spending more than a year in a virtual world, away from their friends  classmates, school play grounds, teachers, coaching centers, missing those school playground afternoons or coaching centre evening with friends, unwillingly diving into the sea of those boring online sessions, where they had to be present but without their minds, the students are bound to be depressed and demotivated. For Class 10 and Class 12 students, things are more stressful and pathetic as they will be missing their last year in school, the play grounds, the walls and every corners of the classrooms carrying the memories of a long lasting childhood wrapped in a nostalgic togetherness with friends. I still remember my last few days in school spent with my friends and teachers. When I was a kid, I used to cry before going to school. When I grew up, every Monday morning I used to feel lethergic to attend my school and the fear of incomplete homework and scoldings from my teachers always refrained me from attending classes willingly. But in that last year in school, I have always felt that if there would have been a time machine and if I could have taken a ride into my nursery days once again. So I am sure that the unfortunate presence of Covid 19 would deprive all the students from shedding those nostalgic yet joyful tears along with their classmates while cherishing every moments they spent in school.

And then, due to postponement of board exams, the students are confused while facing an uncertain future.

And this is where the challenge is. The challenge for these young ignited mnds is to keep themselves self motivated, energectic and in a mentally fresh and stabled condition with focus on both revisions as well as preparation for their future and competitive exams.

1. The biggest challenge we face in our day to day life is to find out positivity and opportunities out of every negative aspects. To me Covid 19 is a blessing in disguise for all students, specially for those mediocre or average students or last benchers like me to rebuild and strengthen their foundation in core subjects like English, Mathematics, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology by solving lot many test papers or sample questions of previous years and by using lot many referrals.

2. If we can't change the situation, we need to change ourselves. Covid 2019 effects and the academic gaps are gradually driving the students to a new virtual world where each one of them can actually make an effective use of internet and the gadgets to redefine and strengthen their skills, roles and responsibilities to shape their future. The present lockdown situation has spurred all of us to be a leader and become self dependent. From the student's point of view they can now effectively use the lockdown situation to rebuild themselves and step into the war field of competitive career opportunities with better preparation for knowledge and skills. The students dont have to buy books. They can get everything and all enriched references in the world of internet to rebuild themselves as a student.

3. The most important task for a student is to divide their schedule at home with effective time management. You need to accept that the current situation demands you to be a caged bird and you have to utilize the space inside the cage for your living and you have to enjoy your living by continuing to sing your songs exactly the way a caged nightingale or a Robin does out of joy when it rains.

You can divide your daily routine into following steps :

A. Appearing for your online sessions conducted by your school. Revision for your preparation towards final year exam.( From 9 am to 1 pm )

B. Attend the important webinars conducted by different educational institutes and Universities on Communication skills, Time Management, Stress Management, Career Counseling and other skill areas. These sessions are hardly for one hour. But make sure that you attend these sessions which are actually a bonus for the students at this difficult hour to sharpen their necessary skills. ( 3 pm to 4 pm ).

C. 3. In the evening time when you are enjoying a cup of tea at your terrace or balcony, do a research using your electronic gadgets about the career opportunities for the field which you are going to choose after class 12. And for a class 10 student, the same applies. Find out which are the best Institutes or Universities and make a comparison of the USPs. If required, move a step further and fill in the online application form for the admission process. The admission process for most of the Universities and Institutes of repute have started online. You cannot afford to waste your time and wait for the lock down situation and final exams to be over. We are stepping towards a new virtual world and may be for the next 6 months, whichever course you choose, you might have to attend the online classes. By June end or July first week, you have to complete the online admission process or else you will miss the bus. You can also make a virtual tour of the campus of your choice. This entire exercise will just involve maximum 1 hour of your valuable time. ( 5 pm to 6 pm ). Assuming that you will do this exercise everyday while enjoying a sunset and watching tbe full moon in a pristine sky.

D. From evening 6 pm to 9 pm, keep your study hours related to school syllabus and exams.

E. From 9 pm to 10 pm, complete your dinner, and in the meanwhile chat with your friends and rewind and refresh your mind.

F. From 11 to 12 pm, keep 1 hour to sharpen your skills related to English. Which ever subject you choose, and whichever profession you join in your future, you need to be a very very smart communicator. So I would suggest that every alternative day, watch the english news channels for half an hour and then select a topic and write a blog. And then close the door and stand infront of a mirror and try to speak to your own image spontaneously for fifteen minutes atleast. Make this a regular habit. This will help you to prepare yourself for the extempore rounds and GDPI rounds conducted by most of the reputed Universities or Institutes while conducting the admission process. This will also make you aware about the current affairs. For students willing to join courses like Engineering or Medical or any other subjects which demands your expertise in Mathematics or any other science subject like Biology, better revise your skills pertaining to these subject areas for atleast one hour. This will help you to build a better foundation for you prior to joining the courses and classes.

G.From 12 pm to 6 pm enjoy your sleep.

Next day, wake up early in the morning and enjoy the fresh, cool morning breeze with the chirping of the birds signalling the start of a new day.

The time slots shown by me are just examples. You can design your own time slots as per your priorities.

3. A difficult time ahead for all of us. Make sure that we don't get depressed. You need to keep yourself mentally refreshed by being more active  Therefore to avoid depression, you can follow the steps given below :

A. Speak to your family members, friends keeping a social distance.

B. Spend an hour in social media.

C. Enjoy music inbetween plugging your earphones.

D. Do free hand exercises.

E. Watch a movie online.

F. Do something creative to avoid depression. For example I am a blogger and everyday I ensure that I will publish one blog atleast. My daughter and wife loves painting. They have done lot of wall paintings and sketches at home.

Most importantly, this is the time to enjoy your extracurricular activities.

Dedicate two hours everyday towards your revision exercise. I am sharing the ways which I used to follow in my school days :

1. Take a subject. Choose the most difficult part out if it. Frame a blog and prepare it. Remember, while writing you always understand better and writing leads you towards a better understanding of the subject.

2. Form an online group with your classmates and organize a half an hour quiz on short or objective type question and answers. This really builds the atmosphere for you to learn and you will enjoy your study session in a game mode and group study ensures a lot more sharing of knowledge and fun.

3. Browse through internet and orepare study notes by using different referral articles available in the internet. This will strengthen your overall foundation for the subject.

4. This is the right time to overcome the fear psychosis related to exam. Form online study groups. Ask one of your friend everyday to become a teacher and prepare a question paper related to any subject. This will help you to get accustomed with exam surprises and will help you to explore the areas of any subjects uncovered by you.

5. Practice Vedic Mathematics if possible.

6. Organize an online quiz particularly on Science Subjects and subjects like English Literature, History and Geography.

7. Practice Mathematics by using onlibe portals like Whitehat, Quanda, ipracticemath, mindspark etc.

8. You can divide your subjects daywise and revise 10 pages of your books everyday. The priorities or choice of subjects depends on your strength and weak areas.

9. Solve previous year question papers as much as possible.

10. Practice writing answers in different ways using your communication skill. This will enhance your communication skill as well as help you towards a better way of remembering your answer.

11. Keep a note of key words. Remember and use keywords as much as possible which will help you to remember your answers.

12. Ask your brother, sister or friend to to check your memories on any subject everyday just for fun. Actually it's going to be an important way of learning in disguise.

Overall, be happy, energetic, and active and make a proper use of this additional time which you are getting due to Covid situation. It's a blessing in disguise for you towards rediscovering and rebuilding yourself snd strengthening your skills and adding further.

Dear friends, the situation demands us to be soft robots with the control of remote in our own hands. The current lockdown situation demands you to utilize every hour, minute and seconds to pull out opportunities from the odds and reorganize yourself.
